  • LCISD Picks Go IT Services to Manage Computer Refresh

    Lamar Consolidated ISD selected Go IT Services to manage 3rd party deployment of thousands of desktop and laptop computers across 36 campuses and several administrative facilities. As part of the contract signed with LCISD, Go IT Services will plan the overall deployment, coordinate with vendors on specific campus refresh schedules, and provide quality assurance services to ensure the deployment is complete on time and within budget.

    The signed contract is part of Go IT Services' DIR DBITS cooperative. The project was kicked off in January 2014 and is expected to proceed through the 2014 school year

  • Fort Bend ISD Contracts Go IT Services for Education Devices Assessment

    Fort Bend Independent School District selected Go IT Services for district wide assessment of education devices. The project requires inventory of all computers, tablets, and other devices located at 80+ Fort Bend schools and facilities.

    Fort Bend ISD is the 3rd largest district in the Houston area with just under 70,000 students. 

    All of us at Go IT Services are pleased and excited to perform this work. This is our first project at Fort Bend ISD and we aim to delight the district with our professionalism and commitment.

  • TPWD Selects Go IT Services for Performance Testing

    Texas Parks and Wildlife contracted Go IT Services to plan, manage, and execute performance testing on two major agency web applications. Go IT Services will use HP Loadrunner to configure and execute various test scripts for the applications. The tests will emulate up to 500 simultaneous users exercising various aspects of both applications. Go IT Services will provide metrics on application and infrastructure performance under stress. Go IT Services will also provide recommendations for application and environment tuning to improve or preempt any system performance issues.

    This is the second performance test project for Go IT Services at TPWD. In 2010, Go IT Services successfully performed similar services for TPWD; that project met with great success and helped uncover and resolve several issues before application launches.

  • UTPB Contracts Go IT Services for University's Website Design

    The University of Texas Permian Basin selected Go IT Services for redesign of its main website and implementation of content management system.  The new UTPB website will leverage the latest in CMS-driven design templates for various departments, a news module, event management functions, and more. Once the project design and development work is complete, Go IT Services will provide UTPB with support and maintenance services to ensure website availability and performance.

  • TJJD Renews JAAS with Go IT Services for 8th year!

    The Texas Juvenile Justice Department renewed a web hosting, maintenance, and support agreement with Go IT Services. The hosted system provides TJJD with applicant assessment for 4 agency positions. Go IT Services initially developed  the system for the Texas Youth Commission in 2006. People Advantage, an industrial psychology based in Houston, worked with Go IT Services developers and system architects to design the system which has now been in production for 9 straight years. TYC and now TJJD have used the system to screen thousands of applicants for job fitness.
  • Go IT Services to provide Computer Inventory Services

    Go IT Services is selected to provide computer inventory services at over 45 schools and administration buildings.

    The LCISD board approved Go IT Services to provide district wide services related to documenting the inventory of 15,000-17,000 desktop and laptop computers located at over 45 facilities. The project kicks off week of August 19 and will involve use of SharePoint collaboration services to report progress and share captured information with district staff on a daily basis.

  • Lamar CISD Contracts GO IT Services for SIS Implementation

    Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD) selected Go IT Services to perform data migration, configuration, and other services in support of LCISD implementation of Skyward IMS. The project will involve maintaining data interfaces with internal and external systems, and ad hoc programming services in support of the implementation.

    Go IT Services will perform the work over the balance of the 2013 calendar year. The project will be conducted as a statement of work under the Go IT Services DIR DBITS Project Management and Technology Upgrade and Migration contract.

  • Texas DIR Approves Go IT Services for New DBITS Contract

    Go IT Services signs a new, multi-year Texas DIR DBITS contract covering 6 technology categories.

    Go IT Services and The Texas Department of Information Resources executed a Deliverable Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) contract through January 9, 2017. This new contract, covering 6 technology categories, comes after completion of a successful 4-year Go IT Services DBITS contract that included work for several state agencies, higher education entities, and independent school districts.

    This new contract along with our existing Web Hosting, Development and Management contract authorization with Texas DIR extends the scope of authorized direct engagements for Go IT Services to cover most of enterprise IT services for 5000+ Texas DIR customers.

  • NTTA renews EPDS and ITS contracts with Go IT Services

    NTTA picks Go IT Services for Phase II EPDS and ITS Implementation.

    North Texas Tollway Authority extended Go IT Services contract for completion of Phase II implementation of Intelligent Transportation System and Enterprise Project Delivery System.

    The North Texas Tollway Authority selected Go IT Services and Kilan Solutions in January 2011 for implementation of Phase 1 of Intelligent Trasnportation System and Enterprise Project Delivery System.

    The project work is governed by Go IT Services' DIR DBITS contract and is expected to last through 2012.

  • LCISD Selects Go IT Services for Key Implementations

    Lamar Consolidated Independent School District selected Go IT Services to perform several key system implementations. These include district wide Time Clock installation and testing, Kronos time keepig system, Tyler Content Management system, and Trip Tracker system.

    Go IT Services will perform the work under several statements of work governed by the Go IT Services DIR DBITS Project Management and Technology upgrade contracts.
